This is a neat article about Happiness. I guess, happiness tends to be highest among Latin Americans and Americans.

I think when you determine to enjoy your life, your level of happiness goes up. Take some time to smell the roses. :O)
Some other ways to increase your happiness include:
- Associate with other happy people
- Major on your strengths, not your weaknesses
- Think big and play to win, rather then playing "not to lose"
- Have goals and focus on what you desire...not what you don't want and "who's to blame".
- Be a blessing
- Count your blessings - An attitude of gratitude will lift your altitude in life.
- Forgive...including yourself.
- Learn to love yourself and like yourself.
- Learn the art of boundry setting - Use "Yes" and "No" with wisdom
- Excercise
- Celebrate when you achieve your goals and when you are making progress toward your goals.
- Find your purpose and be a person of vision. Being a person of vision will cause you to flourish in life. A lack of vision will cause you to 'cast of restraint'. Be a person of vision.
- Laugh. They say that as part of a positive health regime you need to laugh around 15 minutes a day. The average adult laughs very little. It's hard to be happy, when you carry a 'grim' contenance and it's not good for your health.
When you get in God's presence it produces happiness. As King David so powerfully declared:
"Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place."
"Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place."
1 Chronicles 16:27
The Presence of God is a place of glory and honor, as well as strength and gladness.... It's a place of Happiness.
Religion can sometimes burn you out, but Jesus will lift you up. :)
